Squid Game was a huge success worldwide shortly after its debut on Netflix earlier this year. The program's theme combined survival drama and challenges that were modeled after many pastimes children enjoy. The masterminds added a dark undertone to seemingly innocent activities. Red Light Green Light, for example, was to punish anyone who made even one mistake. The audience was riveted by the high stakes and the engaging puzzles as well as the outstanding cinematography.
